In 2016, in an effort to get better at painting characters I solicited character ideas in the form of D&D characters from people on tumblr. One person sent me in the description of their aarakocra monk which was super fun to paint. This Christmas, their sister commissioned a new, updated illustration of the same character (now all levelled up) as a present for her brother! It was such a blast revisiting this character and to see how my art (and this character) have changed and (hopefully) grown over the last five or so years!!
